Date/Time: December 6 (1hr) Location: Over the Phone Topic/Skill: Progress Check: Vocab, Grammar, Speaking Feedback provided to the tutee: I encouraged her to continue practicing on her own and at home as we both noticed the improvement it made when she made the extra time after class to practice on her own and even with friends and family.  Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I think what we both learned from our sessions together was that consistency is key. Being able to keep up with what she was learning in class and what we were covering in our lessons made it easier for her to excel in her classes and made our sessions more productive.

Date/Time: December 5 (2hr) Location: Kellogg Building  Topic/Skill: Grammar and Writing Feedback provided to the tutee: We went over ways to remember when to use noun adjectives and some quick and easy ones to use. I recommended her to make list that she can easily reference while she completes her homework assignments.  Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that giving multiple examples when going over grammar is very important. Most students need to see things in more than one way in order to be able to fully grasp a concept and apply it.

Date/Time: November 17 (1hr) Location: Zoom/ Over the Phone Topic/Skill: Grammar and Writing Feedback provided to the tutee: I showed her some ways to error correct herself as we went over some of her questions regarding her practice assignments. Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that some students may second guess themselves when writing, so by giving them tips on how to do certain things or on how to correct thier own errors as they work through their assignments, leads to less mistakes in their final submissions. Plus this also helps build their confidence and knowledge
