  Date/Time: September 9th

Topic/ Skill: Speaking- Giving a research presentation. 

Teacher Presentation: During this specific class the teacher did not model nor present anything as this was done in earlier classes. This class period specifically focused on each student giving their presentation and him listening and writing down notes on their presentation skills and speaking. 

Classroom Management: The teacher timed each presentation, giving each person the same amount of time to explain their research. At the end of all the presentations he made all his notes available so once their final presentation comes around they are able to improve upon this one. 

Material: Powerpoint 

Student Participation: Everyone gave their own presentation, following a similar structure to what i assume was the sample provided by the professor in an earlier class. 

Feedback Provided: The teacher would listen to the presentations and on his computer would know any speaking, grammar, and pronunciation mistakes made during the presentation. Afterwords he said that all his notes would be available to them online, so they can go home and practice for the final presentation during week 5.

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: I learned how to get students comfortable speaking in front of the class, and how to give quick feedback in the moment while still being an attentive listener/ teacher so that I can catch any mistakes they can correct for future presentations.
