Topic/Skill: Reading
Teacher Presentation:
The teacher led a reading-focused session where students took turns reading aloud from a shared text. The emphasis was on fluency and general comprehension rather than detailed correction. The teacher allowed the reading to flow and did not correct every student mistake. However, if a student asked specifically about their pronunciation, the teacher provided feedback and modeled the correct form. This created a relaxed atmosphere where students felt comfortable speaking.
Classroom Management:
The class was well-structured, with the teacher managing participation effectively. Students were called on to read in turn, and the teacher maintained a calm pace. A few students demonstrated strong speaking skills, while others had more difficulty with annunciation and pronunciation. Despite this, the teacher balanced encouraging participation with occasional individualized feedback when appropriate.
